Many organizations are lacking when it comes to cyber-defense; hackers are constantly developing new tactics, designed to outsmart the sophisticated security systems organizations install. And the more interaction with the internet, the more vulnerable an organization is. Especially vulnerable are organizations, which handle and process forms and applications that could contain sophisticated malware that current systems are unable to detect. Malware that is embedded in a macro of a Word document or PDF, for example, will be invisible to anti-virus systems. The usual methods of dealing with such threats disposing of attachments or choking them off in a sandbox, are not applicable here, if an organization is to do its work. New attack vectors require new strategies to secure incoming files, and our presentation will discuss those vectors and solutions, as well as methods, such as advanced file sanitization technology, to defend against such threat scenarios.
